at a guess? water etc will flow past ladders now. Someone try it out.

water still doent flow past its just u cant stand on on the top of ladder i think if u know what i meen sorry not very defined

I think I figured out the ladder thing. The collision box is for players and mobs. Just like reeds, you can walk right through ladders now. You don't get stuck on top of them.

NPC villages contain chests now , in the blacksmith you get armour and swords/pickaxes!

Well all I've heard is that you can no longer stand on top of the ladder but you can still crouch on them TNT falls through ladders rather than sitting on them in previous updates. water still dose not flow through the ladders because that are still a block.
