DayZ Six Updater Installation Tutorial
A great way to organize and update your ARMA II mods
Prerequisite
-Installed
*ARMA II
*ARMA II:Operation Arrowhead
*Recommended: Latest DirectX
Step One: Download & Install Six Updater
Step Two: Launch Six Updater and Click on Options
Add ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead Game Path
Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead
Add @DayZ Mod Path. (Create @DayZ folder in Operation Arrowhead if you didn't already)
Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ
Recommended for Steam Users: Check the Box Launch through Steam (if Available)
Click Ok
Step Three:Launch Six Launcher & Find a Server and Join. Once you have found a server you would like to join a button on the left side will turn orange saying Install. Click on it and it should start downloading/updating DayZ files. Depending on your internet connection this may take a while.
Optional for Steam Users: Some users may encounter a Bad Serial Number Error while launching DayZ.
*Fix*
Right click on steam.exe. Go to properties\compatibility and set privilege level to run program as administrator
