Since it has been a long time since we made a roleplay for this forums, it is time to make a new one. So this new roleplay will be called "RP Residue." I do not want to see another one of those "oh, since no one is on this roleplay anymore, I will nuke the roleplay world!"
Back to the subject, unlike Mammoth or Oasis, we are not going to be in an apocalyptic scenario or just a couple of cities. This will consist of the entire planet Earth in this roleplay. It will allow people to have more options into where they start off at, travel, etc.
Plot: The world is currently in peace, however, it is not as peaceful as they thought it was. Satan has started sending demons to start coming out to eat humans to gain more power. This is causing disruption in the world by having this happen. So, in order to stop this, people have risen up to fight against them. After 100 years, humanity has dwindled in numbers and are now currently desperate to end this war and go back to the peaceful lives they once had in the past.
Rules:
1. Do not get involved with other peoples roleplays unless they agree to it.
2. Be serious most of the time in the roleplay, no joking all the time.
3. You can only make 1 character, if he/she dies for good, he/shes dead FOR GOOD.
4. You can only have 1 power.
5. Do not make OP weapons/armor for your character.
6. Anyone who trolls or doesn't act seriously, gets their character/posts deleted in the forum RP.
7. Do not use images for the RP.

Alright, I'll try my hand at this.
Name: Ephave (F-ave)
Gender: M
Age: 18.
Starting Area: NYC Subways. The tunnels, not the sandwich shop.
Physical Description: Short, about 5'6-7. Brown hair, green eyes. Not muscular, but not rail thin or chunky. Generally of average build an appearance, except for unusually white teeth. Other traits include a calm, semi-deep voice and a few unsightly moles on the lower neck.
Biography: Bored white rich kid who just happened to be around when the world went to Hell in a handbasket. Spends most of the time hidden in a now empty subway station, sending followers out to collect food and other necessities. Above average intelligence, charisma, and wisdom. Average Constitution and Dexterity. The years of sending followers to do the heavy lifting has left Ephave with below average Endurance and Strength.
Equipment: Weapons are a sling and a pipe, as well as similarly armed followers (about 20 or so). Followers are passive, and only act if ordered to. No armor, dressed only in casual clothing.

In order to remove the OPness from this power, characters with a high enough Int or Wis will be able to resist it. Ex: Gordon Freeman would be immune to the power, whereas Phantom would not.

Lacking the normal cognitive and conscious thought of a typical human, Coileus’ mind has been reduced to basic survival instincts. His age is uncertain, though he can reliable remember the past two years of his life. He was born on the plains, where his parents trying to make themselves as remote from the madness as possible. Coileus’ childhood was a rough and nomadic one, and his parents were bent on teaching their juvenile kin to forage for food and run from danger. Though in present day he may be alone, he keeps true to the ways his younger self was taught: forage and run.

You say don't give your character overpowered weapons or armor, but I'd like to try and make an engineer for a character with the enhanced forging ability(http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Enhanced_Forging). Is that considered overpowered?

Yes, with enhanced forging it will make OP weapons and armor that nobody should have.
