Hi all, just to let ya'all know renegadeX open beta is now avail free. for those that don't know It's a fps based on renegade (C&C3 inspired). 1.64GB easy download.. heaps of servers avail. I've benn playing all day and haven't had any probs on my crappy system ( xp sp3 p4 2.5 dual core)

This actually looks like a lot of fun, I'm downloading it now. I'll tell more about gameplay once I get it going.
I love c&c renegade, once the laptop's fixed I might give it a go.
This is actually decently fun, though I probably won't play it much since it isn't my kind of game. The controls are nice and smooth too. Something interesting about this is that it's an over the shoulder style shooter, sort of like how Dead Space is. I can run it fine at low-medium settings, so you don't need anything special to run this smoothly. Some of the maps and stuff are still in need of editing, there are a few spots that don't look quite right, but if you guys are looking for a fast paced shooter that is free, this is free and it's already a good game for only being in Beta.
yes. it's an "over the shoulder view, but press "f" and it becomes first person
