So as you may know, I ordered my parts and stuff, and they arrived today! Here are my specs:

AMD Athlon X4 750K
XFX DD R9 270
6GB of memory (from an old PC, might upgrade later)
ASRock FM2A75M PRO4+
Corsair CX500
WD Blue 1TB Drive
DVD R/W Drive (Salvaged from old PC)
Azza CSAZ-206 Case

I REALLY don't want this to turn into another hate thread, I'm sure most of us know what I mean, so please keep it civil lol. Anyway, I went with the 750K because it was right in my price range, and man did I get a nice deal on that R9 270. I was gonna go for an R7 260X or 750 Ti, but when you can get an R9 270 for $144.99, it's worth it even if you might not be able to take full advantage of it I think. The motherboard is actually pretty nice, I went with it mostly for possible crossfire in the future, and also 4 RAM slots, since the 6GB set was in 3 sticks of 2GB. The CX500 is a very nice psu for the price I paid ($30) on Newegg. I kinda wish I had gone for a modular/semi-modular one because of the nasty mess at the bottom of the case. The case is actually extremely nice for $20 (I got like everything on sale, total price was about $490). It has room behind the other side panel for more cable management, and it also has a somewhat shaded plastic side window, which is a nice touch. Came with what I'm pretty sure is a 120mm fan in the back, and also a 120 or maybe 140mm LED fan in the front. Here are some pics, but do keep in mind that this is my first real build, and therefore I know I need to work on my cables :P If someone has suggestions for me about neater cabling, let me know.

That is my "Unboxing/Music Station" aka my bed. Gonna be hard to sleep there tonight.

So yeah, leave suggestions for cables n' stuff for me, I think I need it for sure at the moment.

P.S. I don't have the R9 270 yet, but that's like one of the last things to do anyway so I did what I could today. I'll upload another pic or 2 of it, in and out of the case, once it gets here. Hopefully tomorrow..
It sucks. Get a better one.
I'll order a Sega Genesis or something just for you.
Unpainted walls? How bland.

Hurr
Axe lives in a closet, or so i'm told. Also, Axe, Get a genesis, it has BLAST PROCESSING!
Axe lives in my closet. I should know because I fed about a month ago.

Pretty well-equipped computer axe Smile
put all your unused cables in the back of the case and tuck them in corners, you might have to really try hard to get that back panel on though. It's possible to make a non modular power supply looks as clean as a modular power supply (if the case has ample room for cable management) believe it or not, just takes a lot of planning and patience.

there's really no reason to have optical drives nowadays so if you only bought it to install Windows, I'd just get rid of it to save a little space.
Yeah, I've cleaned up the cables a bit and the back panel actually fit on fairly easy once I tied down the cables so they were flatter. I might remove the optical drive later, but I stuck it in there for Windows. Besides, it was from an old computer that was unused so it was free for me.

Ok I obtained more twist ties and I'm gonna try to fit some of the extra cables in the back.

Seriously, learn to clean up, you dirty doge.
You really should get a better computer. This will end up like a dried potato like your last one.
