Remember starforge? http://www.starforge.com/ a bunch of us preordered it a couple of years ago before it was out of alpha. Fully expecting it to be the new minecraft. Well it got released in September and it's on steam now. I'm going to dig out my account and give it a try. 

It's got some cool features, variety of weapons, monsters etc. Has vehicles and placeable turrets and it's all procedurally generated.

Lol I remember this! It's the Halo Minecraft Game! we should totally have a section of mIKe's Candyland dedicated to this game
