Ive been looking to get a new pc, because of how crappy this laptop is and I found this one on craigslist for around $1000.00 and I dont know much about the specs. I want to know what you think about them before I decide. Specs:
CPU: i7-3770k 3.5 Ghz - virtual 8 core Ivy bridge
RAM: 12 gb
GFX: Nvidia GTX 960
Hard Drive: Corsair Neutron GTX SSD - 120 gb
Western Digital HD - 240 gb
Case
If you want I can post the description and pictures of the rig.
Description and pics would be good. You might want to upgrade that hard drive, kinda small capacity, but the cpu, gpu, and memory all look good. SSD is sorta meh size, but still large enough for an OS and some files or a couple games.
Very nice gpu and cpu for that price. As Axe said, bigger drives will be needed. You can get nice 2TB drives for about 70$ nowadays.
Alright heres the description:
This rig has a custom body and lighting system on top of the most current hardware possible. It even has a solid state drive which reduces load times drastically compared to other high end comps. The case alone is worth $400, being a super cooled, tool-less system which makes swapping out hardware a breeze. I am moving and must get rid of it - I am very sad to see her go. I will also throw in a $100 Korean mechanical keyboard custom made for gaming, and a collectors edition razor death adder mouse. I will only sell at the price listed, no haggling.

"custom body" my ass http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6811133188
That's no custom case. Lighting system even comes with it, and the case is only like $190 on Newegg right now.

The Deathadder he mentioned appears to be a limited edition one from PAX, but it is from 2008, 7 years ago. (http://www.techpowerup.com/70121/razer-a...mouse.html)

also, a 3770k and a 960 is the "most current hardware possible"?
Nit, you would probably be better off watching some tutorials on youtube and ordering your own parts (or buying used) and building it yourself. For the $1000 price tag imo this sounds like a ripoff kinda. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/N2zcsY For ~900, you could get a rig with just as good specs (or very near, negligible in actual performance), and if you buy smartly and when things are on sale, you could probably save more and still have a snazzy gaming pc. Just my opinion on this, especially considering that it's a used system.
Alright, thats why I asked you guys. I wasnt just going to buy it without knowing anything about it, thanks Smile
Buy a mac.
