RP, How do we start - MP29 - 02-22-2012
Ok , soon we'll start up living RP in the rp server.
How do we start?
Are we all unknown to eachother, not knowing our names from eachother, neutral stance, and RP into whatever?
or
Is the story so told that we only have to follow it?
If we dont want metagaming then we should start clean.. and whats discussed in forum or ts doesnt go without a good rp story to it in the game.
Yes with in mind to have a war, and like meet halfway each cities in some quest to discover the world.. but not knowing who who is, only that Chaos is something to fear from. as in a Evil god we all fear
Id like to hear from all you guys in what way you look at this roleplay,
what you think its gonna go, as in roleplay,
coz i have got a view to roleplay but id like to hear all of you so i can adjust my thoughts to it.
Are there gonna come plugins/mods for economy and maybe others?

We will know one another based off the story so far.
Which needs to be re-written, I guess I'll do that later.
Jim-Cveroik will keep Creative mode because he won't be involved in anybody's life unless starting a corruption.
Nor will he attack people, only make messes for people to fight.
When the time comes for a battle with him, he will switch to normal mode.

Not many know me. I ran knarlwood from kaminas shadow. I suffer from split personalities because cveoric tried to take me over to return from the nether but he and i live in the same body. Sometimes he is only a voice in my head but the same happens to me at times. I still run things from behind the shadows. Even my highest ranking minions rarely see me.

Hey guys, I have a question, what are we doing about this update we have? Are we copy/pasting the cities into a newer map, does the map auto-reconfigure, do we not update and keep it 1.1?

I could look around for a plugin that reverse generates the map,deletes chunks.
Maybe if I do find one we can remove chunks that are generated but no being occupied by cities,this way the cities will remain the same and we can have some new world gen near spawn when we travel there for new chunks to be put in by the new world gen.IDk,just an idea..

We kinda have a set base map, the main continent is filled with hidden things, cities, ruins, chaos, etc.
we are not starting over simply for "Jungles"
I'm sure they will generate on untouched land.

you don't want to introduce biomes that way, they'll generate in really fucked up ways that don't fit the rest of the map. Besides, jungle isn't a particularly common fantasy setting, is it? let there be jungles at the far ends of the world :\

The RP map was stripped and re-seeded to 1.2 using the same Seed.
I tested this last night, regenerating an area will possibly update it with a jungle.
Here is a test regen, kind of neat how it came out.
