1000-1500, that is more than enough to build 2 decent gaming Pc's.
Well at least you didn't go for alienware, let us all be thankful of that.
If you mean newegg, yes.
Dunno about those other sites though.
BAMF is the guy when it comes to computer stuff though. Knows his shit, and knows it well. He's the reason I'm running 8GB ram on my 'lil laptop. C:
Just checked and I was wrong, they don't. :C sorry about that. BAMF's still a god though.

DABAMF really is what his name means. I have no idea what he's talking about. heh. I need a new computer as well, preferably a laptop. should I go with that first link?
Personally I would say the AMD A6 or A8 APU laptops are great for the price. The intergated graphics chip on the APU in the laptops has more battery life, less power consumption and at the sametime the ability to play Skyrim and BF3 on Medium at around 30-40 FPS
For my $499 Acer Aspire APU Laptop it is unbeatable. Just get extra ram and look for faster ram like DDR3 1600 or DDR3 1866 and you will get great WEI Scores and performance.
For me I found a deal once for $59 in which I got 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1333 RAM on my laptop.
