Definitely can, but that'll kill off some of the respect people have for your build. Different strokes for different folks, but to me, nothing feels better than knowing you put every ounce of hard work into the design yourself.
Yeah thanks guys, i'm going with the new idea of the submarine. But however, why not build both? I was thinking id build a big ass submarine, not so much long but life size. Then i was going to build a ship about the same size as titanic but with a modern theme. I might get op help to copy and paste a few blocks here and there, but i dont mind doing it legit.

And i can drain water with sponge.

Arrow-head shaped walls with floors within.

If you want a challenge , try making a submarine.
A large diameter horizontal tube is more difficult to make.

It could be positioned so that only the top 25% is above water.
This would require making a deep coastline dock.

I can prep a site if you're up to the challenge.

I'l give it a bash. Big Grin

You didn't though, you got free stuff/used creative mode.
Well seeing as some reckon i should build a ship some a submarine, im just gonna do both without any voxel/drain commands or anything like dat

That's true. To me, it's the work that matters more than the material, but as I said before,"different strokes for different folks".

Also, constructer, I'd highly recommend you choose one or the other. Making two different vessels, especially on the scale you're talking about, is going to take a long time. Quality definitely means more than quantity; plus, you've already made a titanic. There's no need to make another. Go for that sub!
The submarine is finished now i'm doing the ship. Submarines are no way near as hard as people make them out to be.

If you are really going to do it legit-ly, then 2 things

1. for true legit-ness, mine the blocks by yourself. all you have to do to build something big on the build server is get some blocks from spawn, and that's not necessarily legit. also dont use voxel sniper or sponges. they aren't in the regular gameplay.

2. If you really wanna build it the legit way, maybe consider building it on the legit server. it would certainly ensure that its legit, and it would help the legit server a lot. just something to consider!
Sometimes I wish I could build large/complicated things on a whim.
You can, that's the point of minecraft..
I think destr0 means that he wishes he had more inspiration and/or creativity to make large builds.
