To expand on that idea maybe replace the old world with a new pvp world?
a pvp arena world on a new server (maybe the pvp server), a pvp world i.e. one where you need a team to survive and raiding is allowed, oh and a donator rank on pvp, say diamond instead of iron armou for donators and iron for standard. what else is there, uhm lemme see, i do have quite a few steam groups im in tht i could advertise on.
Im ok for a fun plugin that would create some life or fun things for the regulars to do, but not supernaturals.. the horrors that that plug-in brought still give me nightmares. Best to look for another good plug-in thats less op-dependent and clear(er).
Im going to add at least 1 project to minecraftplanet and add our server adress for people to check it out, might help out, might not help out.
If anyone else is doing something WORTH checking out, he/she should add a project as well, just for the advertisement.
And about having Pvp on build1, not sure, we got rid of it in the past because build1 is a build server, so dont know how it would turn out. But since we got a dedicated pvp server up it should supply to the demand of pvp for the regs/mRs/ops
Also if some people post a lot on minecraft forums, planet minecraft ect, they could use the server banner as their signature:

This. Also maybe some announcements in-game to vote for diamonds and xp if we get votifier working
If we are going to like put a voting reward system in we should maybe also reconcider the amount of free items at spawn, meaning the types of items we give.
Ive seen some servers where you get only the basic blocks free, and the others you need or to vote for or to pay for with ingame economy money. earned by: voting, the games, mini games, all that, trading selling mined goods. all that.

How about we have an official mikes revenge planetminecraft account , and then make an option on the forums to submit a build. Then some admin checks the builds that have been submitted and posts the good ones. That would make for good advertisement imo.
