$95 from new egg. In games, frequency won't matter. It gives very little extra performance unless you have an APU. In rendering/editing software it makes a few seconds difference, but that's about it.

i found out through looking at others problems exactly the same as mine that my ram is corrupt so im going to work on trying to get new ram and fixing this laptop of mine so until the i will not be on much, possibly not at all.
