I'd still start over with nothing, feels a bit cheaty to take things over to a new map

most people would just grab as many diamonds as they could

Only thing i really want to keep is beacons. They are the kinda thing that is annoying to get but is really helpful at teh beginning. Other than that a fresh start is whats best i think

Keeping loads of random shit from the last world is not really in keeping with the "Legit" ethos.

Agreed, i want a fresh start. That beginning run to leave spawn is always fun lol

I guess having a fresh start would be fine with me, considering I'm really nooby compared to the rest of the players, but i think bringing maybe like 5 things, but have a set limit on what you can bring? like, you cant bring more than 16 iron, you can bring a stack of coal, and some other stuff, as long as the stuff you bring doesnt take up more than 3 or 5 slots in your inventory?

Also, once the update comes out and we are just waiting on the server update or bukkit (sorry if i sound dumb, idk how minecraft/server updates work) we should take of all regions and deadbolts, just for fun ;D

I guess having just a few basic supplies would be ok, but bukkit is sort of essential to running the server. Ops can't do their work as well without having those plugins. Maybe if the server was temporarily whitelisted so only people who request access can go in, to prevent griefers and stuff, we could do that while waiting for plugins and bukkit to update?

I don't really see it as legit at all to grab stuff from an old map and bring it with you, but at the same time i can understand being that it kind of sucks to start over or to lose all progress.

Yeah, It's probably better to start over, it will suck for some people, but it's not exactly legit to transfer stuff from map to map.

If you don't like starting from nothing you shouldn't be playing on Legit.

lol now that that's settled, we should decide on map type. Normal or Amplified? I really have no preference, normal is fun but I would also enjoy a new challenge with Amplified.
