Hey everyone! While we are idling why not share where you are in life?

For me personally a lot has changed!

For one I'm in my 40's now. Still in the IT business. I got remarried! I do silly things like exercise 3-5 times a week. I do crazy things like backpacking and hiking, kind of like exploring the real world like I used to in Minecraft. Last year I backpacked 30 miles solo overnight on the Appalachian trail. I've tried putting some of my hikes on YouTube but then I dislocated my shoulder while hiking and haven't really done much since, but I'm almost healed up and ready to get back out there!

Currently playing Tears of the Kingdom and I'm about half way through. Before that Red Dead 2 and BOTW. I have not played anything multiplayer in a while, but we need a Tears of the Kingdom no-kill build server immediately!

If you're still out there, where are you at in life? Wherever it is, I hope you are healthy and happy!

Side note: To keep the site healthy, I'll be doing some updates and try I'll to put some of the older websites back on here for a nice dose of nostalgia. Right now, email is busted so password resets, etc. won't be sent out.
Hey hey. Been a hot minute. Well where to start. I'm in my late 20's now. A tonne has changed since ye olden days of yore in mR.

I've got a background in finance and taxation, with a specilization in Relationship Management and Accounts. Been engaged twice, both fell through. Something something lead balloon. I'm still fairly active on Steam and Discord though. Been playing a tonne of Star Citizen, Risk of Rain 2 and a few other roguelikes lately. Would love to catch up with the community again for some fun nights.

It's been a wild ride to go back through my journey here, although having a fair few of my posts and threads wiped does mean I had to mentally put things back together (applications, housekeeeping, etc). I'll never forget the days that I made Member, and then eventually Admin. Some of the happier times of my youth were spent here. I still remember most everyone very fondly. mR will indeed hold a loving place in my heart and mind palace for many years to come. Here's to the future, whatever that may be!
Hey! I'm not around here very often, certainly not like I used to be. I Didn't expect there to be much if any activity here after all this time - much less a thread like this.

My steam friend code is 47987786, I also use discord with my name being 'factuallycorrect'. I believe I have a few people from here as a friend on steam or discord though.

I'm around my late 20's now, my hobbies still include gaming. But I do occasionally try my hand at drawing, either traditionally or graphically.
And I'd recently opened up a joint YouTube account with a long time friend of mine as another side hobby while I continue to work - though it is more of a learning experience for the both of us.

I've learned that I am something of an aromantic/asexual. I have no particular interest in such things as romance and relationships, even if I'd given it a few attempts. Preferring instead to remain alone.

As for games that I play, there are the early access/incomplete games such as Dwarf Fortress, Songs of Syx, Ostranauts, Conquest of Elysium, and the like. And more 'complete' games such as Crusader Kings, Stellaris, Sea of Thieves, etc. Though I am somewhat averse to 'Triple A' games, I feel that I have an extensive collection of more niche games that I either have played, or play. I do kind of want to get into Star Citizen, though.

Like Starkiller, I spent some of the happier times of my youth here, and I consider this community very special. To anyone who sees this; feel free to reach out.
It's great hearing from people on here! Similar to Star and Pascal, some of my fonder memories of growing up happened on these servers. Great group, and I'm genuinely happy to hear from you all.

I'm in my late 20's, attended university on a scholarship as a music major, met my wife there, and somehow landed a job in project management at a bank. We have three dogs we like to take on hikes (a common hobby it sounds - maybe a mIKe's hIKe's thread would be fun!) I've played a decent amount of multiplayer games like BG3 and L4D2, but Smite and Fortnite are pretty constant no matter my video game mood.

My goal for the next 5 years is to start a sustainable, affordably priced residential construction non-profit. I've trained with builders from a couple different countries on carbon-friendly materials and am currently saving for the initial cost of building a prototype. I felt a weird pull from the universe to try and fix the housing crisis issue, so fingers crossed me and my partners can get there!

My steam friend code is 75941016, feel free to add me if you ever want to connect and play something!
Hey guys! Long time no see. Glad to hear everyone is doing well and staying busy. I still remember my first time joining the mikes-revenge Minecraft server back in 2011 and the community had a big impact on me in my early teens.

I'm currently in my mid-twenties. I studied computer science in college and have been working as a software engineer in Dublin since graduating. I'm still good mates with Bman who, believe it or not, also studied computer science at the same college as me and who also works as a software engineer (different companies though).

I can't say I do much gaming anymore, I've struggled to commit to any games in the last couple years (unless chess counts). Every so often I'll still spin up some Civilization V or a Total War game but that's about it.

Hope you all stay safe and our paths cross again! I'll keep my eye on the discord and try to hop on some time.
Nice to hear from you guys! We still use the discord pretty regularly if anyone wants to drop by to chat.

Late 30s now, I'm working as an M+E engineer. Basically doing all kinds of electrical and mechanical maintenance on commerical buildings. It's pretty good, work is interesting and variable enough and it pays well.

I'm engaged and my fiancée and I are saving to buy a house.

I often wonder how things turned out for some of the folks on here, I hope people are having good lives.
Hey all

I'm unfortunately working for the enemy and work in local government with the double whammy of doing customer service for them so i get yelled at a lot i almost died last year due to do my appendix having a bad rupture but lucky got passed that i'm in my early 30s and trying to work out how i can get into more database jobs and getting a adult apprenticeship for that
Hey bros.

Some of you probably remember me from MC and TF2. I was like 12 then but still lurk around once in while. This place has some of my first internet friends. Now graduated with IT job and live with my girlfriend. Im glad most people seem to be doing well.
Significant transformations have marked my personal life!

To begin with, I've ventured into my forties. My career is still rooted in the tech industry. Excitingly, I've embarked on the journey of marriage once again! My week is sprinkled with what some might consider odd habits, like engaging in physical workouts between three to five times. My adventures stretch beyond the ordinary—I indulge in the thrill of backpacking and hiking, mirroring the exploration I once enjoyed in virtual worlds like Minecraft. Just last year, I took on a solo 30-mile backpacking trek across the Appalachian Trail overnight. I ventured into sharing my hiking experiences on YouTube, but an unfortunate shoulder dislocation while on a hike put a temporary pause on my activities. Nonetheless, I'm nearing full recovery and eagerly awaiting my next outdoor adventure!

In the realm of gaming, I'm currently navigating through Tears of the Kingdom, finding myself about halfway through. Previously, I lost myself in the worlds of Red Dead 2 and BOTW. It's been some time since I dived into multiplayer games, though I'm now championing for a no-kill build server for Tears of the Kingdom to be created posthaste!
So funny I stumbled onto this thread. Me and some old friends just started a Minecraft realm and I brought up this old server I used to play in. I was really young when I played on here, but I'm 24 now. I live with my girlfriend and I'm actually a math teacher now. I do a fair bit of hiking and have traveled just to try certain trails. I'm glad everyone is doing well. I may not be recognizable but I do remember a ton of your names. Cheers.
