I already have the files downloaded through the Get Windows 10 app, but I don't wanna wait for my install to come whenever MS wants. I saw some command to force the update, but that also forces it to download again (which I don't want to do) through Windows Update.. You can download an installer from Microsoft here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and upgrade, though a few people are getting a "Something Happened" error with it (before installing, it's not harmful) RE: Windows 10 de-botnet thread - Axehacker32 - 07-29-2015 Installer just redownloads it as well.. I guess I'll just redownload it and get my install done lol RE: Windows 10 de-botnet thread - bmanrules - 07-29-2015 (07-29-2015, 07:25 PM)Axehacker32 Wrote: Installer just redownloads it as well.. Probably a better option than waiting for the wave your PC is in to start! RE: Windows 10 de-botnet thread - Oink_mR - 07-29-2015 To the people who already installed win 10, did it go smoothly? Should I worry about losing / corrupting certain data? Any major issues / bugs? I would just create a system image to get rid of my worries but I don't have any big enough flash drives or external drives RE: Windows 10 de-botnet thread - ssixx - 07-29-2015 Did a clean install from a usb and everything went smoothly. So far every program I've used in Win7 has worked http://gyazo.com/b2531d72ac87dbc830507b9cfacb73bf |
