General Note For All Minecrafters On Legit - gamethan - 03-12-2013 Hey guys! I am here to tell you (legit players as well as some build1-ers) that we will still have the same overworld map for 1.5. I see no problem with this, and none of the other regulars do either. The only thing to change is the nether map. Mike will be resetting the nether map when 1.5 comes out (possibly wednesday, which is TOMORROW) and for legit players who have not been around minecraft too long, everything in the nether gets reset, and it will get rid of anything your in game person placed, along with everyone elses placed blocks. The reason I am telling you this is because if you have any valuable secret chest in the nether, or some other valuable I would suggest getting it out of there. I have not seen anything in the nether besides a non-functional wither farm that is worth anything besides some iron and gold. But, thats just what I can see. If you have something hidden, or in some obscure place and want to keep the supplies, I would suggest getting it out. With all that being said, I will be going around today, and if 1.5 doesnt come out tomorrrow, tomorrow as well and collecting the tracks to soon be replaced . I will also be recording all the coords of the majorly important (I mean REALLY important) nether portal coords so that we can then rebuild the tracks. Now, sorry if I am boring you, but another topic; Hub. A few other players and I would like to set up a hub in the nether. It would work like this; we would start in some place (maybe spawn if we can set up a bullet-proof entry), region that, and then have 4 main arteries going North South East and West. we would trick those out, and then from there we would have something like branches going off from the 4 arteries to reach a specific region or portal. This would not only look cool and cut down traveling time, but it would save resources. Im sorry if I have wasted any of y'alls time with this thread, like I said, its really only for the hardcore (or somewhat hardcore) fans of legit. P.S. anyone is very welcome to come by and help me take the tracks! just make sure you ask me before you start and to put the tracks in a deadbolted chest at an easily accessible place! Also everyone, keep in mind when 1.5 comes out we won't update the server until Bukkit is on 1.5. Those of you who have been though this before know it doesn't take long, usually a day at max. Basically DO NOT UPDATE TO 1.5 IF YOU WANT TO PLAY ON THE SERVER.
