Grifer on legit? - georgecreeper - 12-03-2013
First of all this is Crabbster writing, Georgecreeper has posted this for me because my “MR†account went screwy. Basically my town “Crabsylvania†has been the victim of a greifer!. Our houses were coverd in fire and are horses slain. The greifer took 6 stakes of iron, 4 diamond horse armour and seven diamonds (all materials that took an age to collect). The greifer must have came around on Sunday 1nd of December or on the 1st of December. Due to my absence of school and a gaming festival. All i ask is that if anyone knows who this person in question is or may have an idea please tell an OP so we can find and ban this person.
Other victims: communist donut, munydew, jamesisjam and are poor dead horses (theodor, samba and two others i have forgotten)

Have any ops/mR recently added friends of players you might not of seen around to the whitelist? (if it's still on, haven't been on recently because of school). Do we have logblock?

We don't have logblock yet and from Crabbster, um yes, well a good idea would be to start by looking at all the recent additions to the whitelist.

I can tell you right now it's hopeless. With Bukkit failing to come out, you can forget about finding who broke your blocks. don't live so close to spawn, build traps, or keep your location a secret to avoid all griefs until bukkit's out.

Bukkit is out, I'm fairly sure it's running on Legit too, alongside Build1.

Yeah, but if he strikes again we can check the logs to see the person who logged on and compared it to before

I got robbed too because a lot of my diamond stuff is gone and so are my stacks of coal, glowstone, lapis etc.

Like I said guys, until Bukkit gets put onto the server the greifs and steals will happen. But fear not, because there are ways to keep your stuff safe! Be resourceful! Place a large redstone maze to get to your hidden-by-a-piston chest with diamond in it, or have an un-detectable house in the mountainside. There are so many options to keep your stuff safe. It may not be ideal to be living like a hidden caveman, but that stuff works the best, imo.
