Vape General - Videowarrior - 04-23-2014 BCUZ MIKE ASKED FOR IT. Any who, this is a place where vapers can discuss vapes and various other vape-related things. Like quids, tanks, mods, sites, etc. VIDEOWARRIOR'S BIG LIST O' REVIEWS: Liquids: (probably the easiest thing to review since they're often cheap and you can buy a bunch at a time) Root Beer by Top Vapor To be completely honest, this flavor tastes more like Italian soda with a few drops of MUG root beer in it. The flavor is pretty watered down but to my surprise it did taste bubbly and carbonated (I have no idea how they pulled that off) which made it a little better but not sweet enough for my tastes. If you like mild sweetness and the mouth feeling that you're drinking a carbonated beverage then this will be a treat for you! Blueberry by Top Vapor Another flavor by Top Vapor (Go figure they're the cheapest so I got a shit-load of their liquid) with a decent price to boot. This flavor hits nicely and leaves you with a nice bit of blueberry, the downside is that its almost too sweet to be vapable and will leave you with a sour taste in your mouth if used too frequently (Every now and then is nice and isn't too terribly overpowering) but all in all this liquid is pretty decent. Top Banana by Top Vapor This flavor blew my mind, at first I thought "Ehg.. Banana doesn't sound so good.." But then I tried it and my dick literally exploded off of my pelvis. It tastes exactly like a fresh banana without any chemical aftertaste, this was my all day vape until I found Vanutla (We'll get to it!) if you're looking for a non-sweet but super yummy liquid then you should DEFINITELY give this a go! Strawberry Ice 'Ass' by Top Vapor I don't know what the deal was with this one but all I got was a mixture of soap and toothpaste flavor. Horrible, do NOT try this one folks. Vanutla by Top Vapor This stuff is FREAKING AWESOME, so awesome that it DOESN'T EVEN NEED A FANCY PICTURE TO SHOW HOW AWESOME IT IS! Seriously though, this flavor proved to me that cheap liquids can also be good liquids. The first time I vaped this through my shitty Kanger EVOD my tongue got out and yelled "BITCH, WHY HAVEN'T YOU BEEN VAPING THIS SINCE YOU WERE BORN?" this stuff is gold. It's a perfect mixture of vanilla and hazelnut flavor that almost tastes like nutella (but without the chocolate). It hits super smooth and tastes faintly of sugar cookies on the way out. If you were to try any of Top Vapors many flavors, I'd recommend this one. ADDING MORE STUFF WHEN I GET THE REST OF MY PARTS TOMORROW RE: Vape General - mIKe - 04-24-2014 This is my stuff favorite juices/gear at the moment: E-Liquids: Gold Reserve From Johnson Creek http://www.johnsoncreeksmokejuice.com/gold-tradehtml Best Tobacco flavored juice on the planet, only comparable juice in flavor and complexity is their Red Oak Tennessee Cured. Honey and tobacco notes on the inhale, and orange tangy notes on the inhale. Very complex and rich flavor. It's hard to get bored of! Mods & APV's: iTaste MVP 2.0 http://www.innokin.com/itaste-mvp.html Roughly the size of a narrow pack of smokes, this tank of an APV is about as durable as they get. 2600mah battery life will get you roughly two days of vaping before charge! Sigelei Zmax V5 http://www.sigelei.com/goods.php?id=267 My favorite APV at the moment, small and compact, yet packs more punch than the MVP, if you get a good battery. RE: Vape General - Videowarrior - 05-11-2014 Review of my newest first The SmokTech Bolt I got this in a madvapes grab bag ($30) and I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. Mine is a reddish-orange color and came with a black extension ring for supporting a 18650 battery (They probably lost the original color ring hence why they threw it in a grab bag) and it looks epic even with the mismatched ring (almost looks cooler). It hits really nice with the included Artemas Slim tank (even at only 1.5) and rarely leaves you with dry hits. The warning I should give is that this doesn't have an over-draw mechanism so if you hold down the button too long the battery could explode or damage the device (You'd need to hold it down for like 3 minutes though) so I don't suggest storing it somewhere it could potentially be pinned against something and the button held down (Like a backpack) but should be fine for pocket storage. However this warning applies to all tube mods and shouldn't surprise an experienced vaper. Another note is that it apparently doesn't support 2.1A tanks or carts (doesn't fire on my iclear 30's or 2.1 kanger slims) but my experience might be limited to just my selection of tanks. The anodized aluminum casing on the tube is really the nicest feature of this mod. The normal bolts are around $9 but are made of ABS plastic and are easily broken and look like crap, however this is milled out of one solid piece of aluminum which has been color anodized to give it a smooth finish that looks awesome and sleek as all hell (Most people will think its some kind of cologne bottle or something) and the small size makes this a great out-and-about mod. You can pick up this mod at madvapes or smoktech (Mad vapes includes 1x tank, 1x charger, 1x 2250mAh IMR battery, and extension ring). It's cheaper at smoktech if you want just the mod, but madvapes carries the whole kit if you're just starting out. Accepts protected 18500 and 18650 batteries (IMR suggested). Happy Vaping! RE: Vape General - Diggity_Dan - 09-11-2014 I need more Input... I want to try vaping out but need some knowledge from youz peeps. I was thinking about trying this Aspire ET-S BDC Starter Kit Along with like 5 different flavors just to see if I would like it or not. Also Im not a smoker so I would get the 0mg Nicotine juices. Should I try this one or get a disposable cartomizer to start out with? RE: Vape General - mIKe - 09-11-2014 (09-11-2014, 03:57 PM)Diggity_Dan Wrote: I need more Input... I want to try vaping out but need some knowledge from youz peeps. I was thinking about trying this Aspire ET-S BDC Starter Kit If I had to go back and start over again Id start with this (full kit): http://www.ebay.com/itm/iTaste-VV-3-0-Starter-Express-Kit-Authentic-Guranteed-The-Latest-Wth-More-Rivets-/171394109914?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item27e7e291da Get a few disposable e-hookas or try a few of the throw away ecigs to see if you like it. There are 1000x different flavors and companies to choose from so its more of finding a good flavor you like. I'd get a good sample pack so you can explore as many flavors as possible. Some ehookas I found. These are as good as the flavor and quality that's in them, so if its shit dont let it throw you off. http://www.ebay.com/itm/e-Hookah-e-Shisha-Fantasia-Diamond-series-SElectronic-Disposable-Pen-800-Puffs-/351045674858?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51bbf3e76a RE: Vape General - Videowarrior - 09-12-2014 You also gotta remember, typically the tank will influence the flavor (With me anyway). Personally I hate acrylic or plastic tanks because they get eaten away by a lot of juices and sometimes if you let them sit the juice will kinda absorb a bit of the plastic flavor (Tastes like you're vaping a near flavorless piece of chewed bubblegum). Get something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/itaste-mvp-2-0-Starter-kit-2600- mAh-vv-vw-battery-Free-Shipping-/281428938997?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=& hash=item418678d0f5 That way if you decide you don't like vaping, you can still use it as a portable battery backup. There's lots of room to upgrade and it comes with a free iclear 30 tank (Plastic, but good quality so it'll last until you either decide vaping isn't for you, or until you decide you want to go for the big guns and pick up something like a Kayfun or Aerotank) You can also buy nice skins for it to make it look more socially friendly (Make it look like a pip-boy, for example). It also has adjustable wattage/voltage so you can mess around and see what you like to use. I do suggest that you upgrade to a pyrex or stainless tank as soon as possible though, as a lot of plastic tanks get something known as "etching" or "cracking" after a while because the e-juice is slightly acidic in liquid form and will eat through the plastic (Kinda like how soda will eat through your teeth, same process). Or bid on something and save mad cash. Up to you. RE: Vape General - Babeboom - 09-13-2014 I'll just stick to my bags of dirt. |
