New Laptop - wombat333 - 02-02-2015 hey guys, I need an advice. I've been looking at some toshiba laptops, mostly for casual web use and desktop apps, my budget is $800. my choice for now is Satellite Pro C50, but will have to look into it further. what I wanted to know is whether any of you have experience with toshibas. are they reliable and how good their batteries are? thanks in advance. RE: New Laptop - mIKe - 02-02-2015 Toshiba's are pretty solid you'll get a few years out of it at least For under $800 this looks pretty good too http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/asus-vivobook-core-i5-15.6-laptop-f550ldv-xx967h/F550LDV-XX967H RE: New Laptop - Axehacker32 - 02-02-2015 Toshibas are good, only concern I would have with one is the screen. My friend has one and after 3 years of use is being held together by duct tape. The laptop mike posted looks pretty good. A good alternative would be something like a Lenovo Y40.
