Hunger Games- Do not read unless you have read the Trilogy

I was re-reading (sorta,I never finished it :-/ ) the second Hunger Games book When I came up with an idea. The Survival Games got great publicity upon completion, and I thought, why don't we reconstruct the Quarter Quell map, with working redstone clock systems, Silverfish instead of insects, Lightning on the trees, Everything. We could upload it to the MinecraftForums and make a server here as its "Official Server"

If you like the idea, Here's what would be required:

Builders: Preferably Regs and Admins
Redstone engineers: To build a clock system that can trigger different items
Test-Tributes: Probably just the Builders, Only required to test features

I realize this will be tricky, but I think we should try it

lol yeah. The thing is, it's not just the building. the hazards run in segments around edge, you'd need some serious redstone or a mod even to achieve that :\

Im reading the last book now, In the meantime reading it I was thinking of the same, Maybe I could make a plugin(Maybe a mod) for the clock and lightning, but I want to help building/redstone too.

I had a post written out on my phone, then accidently deleted the WEP code for my WIFI, Gotta get it back now, anyway. My plan was to have Redstone repeaters in a square under the map constantly sending a Redstone current around the map. A Minecraft hour is 46 seconds. I was thinking if we had blocks over every 46th second repeater that would take the current out of the clock and power a contraption, such as silverfish, the "beast", lava etc. We may need a plugin to handle lightning and other content that cannot be done in vanilla Minecraft, like the toxic gas. I'll post the other post when I get my wifi code off my home pc
