Just a thought.. each time someone posts a vid on youTube, we have an influx of new blood into build1. So.. might I suggest a weekly video showing some of the awesome builds on build1, legit etc...??

I believe we have tried this before a long time ago, however no one really wanted to do this kind of thing so no one did it. DrKamina has a youtube channel for Minecraft and shows the builds and what happens in our servers.

I usually only post my own projects/builds.
I won't make a video of a build unless it has five qualities.
I used to record a lot of videos back in the popular CoR days, but since then its been low.


1: I don't want to see a shitty generic square home and or castle.
2: I don't record unless I have permission from said builder, in which they are accredited to the fullest.
3: I record to a specific style depending on the build.
4: See rule 1
5: If its already been done, I don't do it.



(New people also visit build1 to see Columbia, which I've been working on with Dutch and Sagan, its a large project and I release timestamps of it.)

Yep.. seen em all.. Kudos to the builders,But, are these built using world edit/mods etc?? recorded using HD texture packs??
I'm talking about some of the awesome builds by everyday members, without the aid of mods etc. Viewers surely know the difference between builds made using mods or by Ops and Admins, So whilst they may visit to look at these builds and look on in awe.. they know they cannot do these mammoth builds... Everyday members doing everyday builds, that's what may encourage people to stay on site and give it a go.Would you buy a Toyota because the salesman showed you a Mercedes ??
I must state.. I'm not bagging anyone in any way.. I love seeing these awesome builds, but equally love seeing the great builds by everyday users.
As i said.. just a suggestion..

I actually think this is a really good idea, It would not only be good advertising but it would motivate players to try and make builds to make it into the videos.

My builds are by hand, I don't use MCedit and Mods.
The only profitable thing I have is Creative because taking the time to gather thousands of blocks is plain stupidity.
Don't compare me or anybody from CoR to that of other groups.

Viewers do not know a difference.
Viewers do not give a shit unless its a unique build that hasn't been done 50 times.
Viewers accuse you of mods no matter how legit it is, they want to see a build, for a build.
Read the media
You should ask Blaze to record the endless square homes and castles, he does quite well at recording as well, more so better.
