Its more of a survival game (Dayz, not arma 2) but you got guns.
Its a mod for Arma 2, I bought combined ops (Arma 2 and Arma2: Operation Arrowhead) on Steam for €25.- , dont know if it will be in sale soon
Yes, you can free roam, but there are zombies, bandits (player killing people) and other survivors.

You can play illegaly on certain servers (but theyre shit), but yes, if you want the real deal you need to buy something and you cant play with arma free. Arma 2 and operation arrowhead are good games themselves as well, so they are worth the money.

It is next to humans vs zombies, humans vs humans as well. Dont thrust the situation: shoot at sight, or they will shoot you.

You dont need Steam, but it makes things ALOT easier.
Graphics arent that good so you dont need the best card, you do need a proper cpu
