mR, would you mind giving me your opinion on my latest build?
I built an accurate recreation of the SSBN-601, otherwise known as the U.S.S. Robert E. Lee. Spent a couple weeks on it, completely hand made, no MCEdit, just creative mode and a lot of free time.
My replication features rooms and settings almost exactly as they would be seen in the real submarine.
My favorite features are the working alarm system and the missile silos that fire actual ICBMs! The sub boasts two counter-ICBM silos, and four regular ICBM silos, for a total of six silos. In extreme scenarios, the counter-ICBM silos can be easily converted into regular ICBM silos with just the switch of a button, allowing you to rain down a full hailstorm on any enemy at any time.
I used a couple of mods for the submarine to function correctly; they're listed in the description for the video, along with the dimensions and a couple links to my inspirations for the creation. I'm probably going to be updating the post with a new, shorter, more action packed video if I ever get the time to make one. The video I posted gives the full length tour and explanation of everything in the submarine, hence it's length (~22 minutes).
