We now are hosting a GoldenEye Source server which is completely free!
Be prepared for some upcoming events!

If you guys like this server enough, I can port the build system into this game giving us all new props and things we can do.

To join us, you will need Steam & Source SDKbase 2007 installed [Steam & SDK install are both FREE] and the client installed.

After you install SDKbase 2007 and the client GoldenEye exe, restart your steam client and you will see the mod added to your steam games.

Gota say the game is really fun. Perfect for events with its many gamemodes such as death match, build, and rocket jump race courses. Has almost all the weapons from the original Golden eye 007 on the N64.

The install is very easy and simple. If you receive the "mountfilesystem error" do this simple edit.

-Exit out of STEAM completely
-Go into the sourcemods folder
-Go into gesource folder
-Find the file named gameinfo.txt
-Open that file and delete the sentence
"AdditionalContentId 420"

GoldenEye <3 I've loved this game since getting it on Wii (I know, the n64 version is better and I acknowledge that - I don't play Wii anymore ) and always loved the source version too. I thought it was cancelled after one of the lead developers passed away but I can't wait to join

I noticed we have a custom map....Does the map rotate on the server or are we just on this one map?

It's on default rotation, there are 3 ten minute rounds and then it will rotate to the next map.

I have radar disabled and paintball mode enabled.
Also, I activated the hl2 flashlight as there are some dark places.

You will find there are original maps and modernized versions of those maps as it rotates.

As always, the more attention I see the community giving this or anything else, the more time I will invest in it- adding commands and such to change game modes and vote systems.
