Some huge firework explosion scared him, he disappeared,
2 days gone now.
hope he wont die.

Just put some food out and call his name regularly. If he has a toy that makes noise try that too, or like a can of wet food opening. Cats dont go too far from their territory and are generally too scared to wonder far from their own scents.
He'll come back when he is ready!
