New Beginnings! - MCRP

Well, it's been a while, but I think the time may be ripe to try this again.

And you all thought that I would give up on RP so easily! XD

Now that everyones settled into a new year at school/collage/whatever and with the christmas holidays pretty soon, would I be right in saying that most people would be able to participate in the re-birth of the RP server? Please comment below if you are still interested!

Couple of Changes I suggest:

- Perhaps start afresh with the world - a new map with more varied terrain could be beneficial for a more interesting world.

- More building commonality - I noticed that there was an obvious devide in building talents within the people building last time (is that fair to say?) So perhaps some of the master-builders (MP29 Springs to mind) could work on tutorials, and create some basic house/shop/ect blueprints for people to copy/paste around the map.

- Update the texture pack for new blocks. - Rat3d did a great job last time.

Secondly. I'ts just an idea, remember I did alot of building too, but I think if we started again, we could make it easier by copy/pasting basic things like houses and we could try and work together more. Idk, it's up for discussion.

Yes, Sounds good. There where a lot of epic builds on the last map and I like how the styles of buildings varied.

Id be more than happy to get back into the minecraft. Its been forever and I miss playing. This will be a good start with everything fresh to come back. Especially after the first attempt of the RP server we did a few years back.

Can we have a vote on wether people want to continue with the old map, or start a new one?

I actually have an idea, it might be a very good one too, how about we integrate the rp story onto the forums and while we make the story act it out in game, like two aspects of the RP.
