1. Is there a Nether town? I think a good idea would be that dead people are sent to the Nether where they have to complete tasks to get reborn some time, but those would be very hard so the player can also make a new character if he doesn't want to do that Nether stuff.

brilliant idea! a really long ass dangerous nether maze, that you have to navigate to get back to a portal to the real world.
