the ugandan government has a pretty terrible human rights record, this is true. But this guy isn't really a "side" he moves around several countries in the area. Initially he tired to take control of uganda to install a theocratic government, cause he believes god talks to him. Although he seems to have given up on that and is just using his army to maintain his position. He's kidnapped (according to the most conservative estimate i've seen) around 30,000 children in the past 20 years, and is number one on the list of war criminals the international courts want to prosecute. There are no shades of grey in this issue, the guy needs to be caught.
And the people criticising the campaign, the vast majority of us would never have heard about this if they had not made this documentary, and the increased awareness means increased political pressure on our leaders to act, it's that simple. Please don't go deciding you're against something just because it's popular.
