I like the announcement idea. Is it being pulled for the homepage? Like someone makes a post and it automatically pulls the content (including inline formattingsuch as bold italic etc.) And puts it in the homepage news stories? We'll need an input option for .asubtitle if we still want to keep that. For writing and articles sake i say we keep the article subtitle and code something to pull the subtitle for those decide to include it in there post. Maybe use bbcode tag to identify it in said users post.
