We decided upon a date, July 6.7 as Madman reminded us in a previous post.
If we as a community then decided that coming to a general consensus is now useless, then why do we bother talking to each other at all?
I would hope that decisions made after a long discussion in which almost every admin was present (or in towelie's case well represented, again by madman) should hold some weight.
I've had a brief talk with towelie about this, I will admit I do not like josef, nor I believe will I ever like him. That being said everyone should be given a second (or 20th) chance.
He should have this chance, at the agreed upon time.
I would welcome discussion about this subject in a medium that is not the forums, seeing as actually talking to people (in our case via teamspeak) is a very efficient method of communication.
Sorry I was working when you got on Teamspeak earlier....
We've came together as a community to make this decision, and we handled it well. In hindsight allowing him to be unbanned for a day was not the greatest idea. It was a test that went all to well. He got along great, showed maturity, and every reason we wanted him to stay banned for as long as we decided has already been accomplished. I see no reason to keep him banned, and everyone else would agree. I know you don't care for Josef at all, and I can respect that. All I ask is you treat him fairly. The probationary period is still in effect. We are either going to have pleasant person around the servers to hang out with, or we will not. There will be no drama. I'm also going to advise josef not to talk to you and to just let you decide if you want to communicate with him or not.
