I agree with senor clamy, when youre playing default, you can find your favorite biome faster, but you can risk it being really tiny. Large biomes are good especially for big projects that require a lot of flat land

However deserts/oceans can be quite annoying on large biomes, you can easily get loads of forest or jungle and plains (my favourite biomes idk about you) and if you like mountains it wouldnt be hard to get some saplings from these other biomes and make a tree farm if thats what you're saying oink
