Happy Hallow Eve

[The Pumpkin King]

For today is Halloween, where children do run, laugh and scream
The stars above shining bright, all to distract you from the blight.
This story begins before our time, from a place where fears do climb
A place where death cannot escape, but sounds echo of things that scrape.
The people who live there although wise, there skin turned yellow with candle lit eyes
There features warped into crooked lines, all to pay their overdue moral fines.
To live forever is divine, but not when trapped upon a vine
Their eyes stuck forward on a lawn, there evil plans being drawn.
So try and remember when you lay to sleep, the darkness will hide them as they creep
Was it the wind that blow that tree? Or was it all my minions…..or was it ME!
