This is a great community and I've really enjoyed my time here. Been an anon for a year or so on the tf2 server, and didn't even know the community surrounding mR. The one we have up is amazing and the most fun I've had in tf2 has been spent there. Its the only place you can find a reliably up, dm_dual v3 server also, which is amazing, but that can be a problem. I absolutely love the community here and i cant really play on other servers because of it.

My point is, I think its time to have another server with a rotation of maps, whether it be cp_, ctf_, or pl_, just a rotation of maps, were the community can play on. Now I don't know the mR funds so I don't know how feasible this is but I thought I would like to put this out there for others to read.

Ah yes, this was tried many times before we decided to stick up dm_duel on 24/7. It usually ended up 0/32 most of the time unless we went on it ourselves. Adding another TF2 server is possible but the quantity of empty servers mixed with ours didn't really help in the past but I guess we could go for another run. That's my 10 cents.

Well now-a-days the server is pretty full at most times except for at night and during the week when not many people play anyway, but i was thinking, the dm_dual is a pretty niche map so having more vanilla maps with some custom maps thrown in would make it a bit more accessible to people, also, if we are having player number problems, how about starting a reddit page. Its really good advertising.

Well, I would love to be able to have a serious match on the mR tf2 servers instead of being base-raped all the time. I support the idea.

But as far as funding goes, this is no problem as mR have their own dedicated box.

The TF2 server has been pretty full lately. TF2 SRCDS doesn't use much resources, so if we want another server. It is up for debate.

The map roatation servers we've had before don't tend to do so well. maybe if we had some more interesting maps, rather than the vanilla ones? Map admin, make it so!

Doc has a map maker or two in his tf2 community, maybe if they wanted to they could make a map or two for us?

Well, if i can make some suggestions for really nice maps ctf_Rock, ctf_facing_worlds, pl_toy_fort_2_v3b, and another that is like toy-story. If we had some stock maps, along with custom maps, it would have a really nice selection.
