Yes, it will still be accessible, so nothing will be lost. If anyone wants their build, well, it only takes a second to copy-paste.

Yes, The map is getting crowded, and the current map will still be available. Also in 1.5 their is a new Nether ore (Quartz)

I agree the map is getting crowded. If my big ass mountain and castle can be copied across damage free then i vote yes.

As ops any builds you want to save (and I suggest you do this) you can use the Worldedit command to save a selected region to a schematic file, which can then be imported into the new world.

The current world would be loaded as a 2nd world, however from past experience major updates usually break plugins, so at first the current world would be inaccessible until plugins were updated.

Just a thought. make the general build area a little further away from spawn this time as the crappy builds are NOT appealing for new players to see when they arrive. (not too far tho). I visited another server 2day and it looks much better that way.
Or.. make flatlands all around spawn and it could be an invite only area.(good builds only). we can copy/paste peoples builds if they are good enough.

A nice spawn (by Dan) and maybe warps to 2k 3k 4k from spawn to spread out the regulars over he world.
(train rails no ty coz that never works that great)
