miss the good ol days in the Legit server
Ok that title is a joke, don't get your panties in a bunch.
So I'm sure you've all heard the babble that I'm going to be managing and operating mIKe's ReVeNGe for the foreseeable future (God help us all) but this does
NOT mean that I own mIKe's ReVeNGe. mIKe is still the king koopa around here and he still gets the final say in everything, but I'm going to be acting as his
'shadow' of sorts in the sense that I'll be the one actually carrying out tasks such as managing servers, assisting with problems, managing the forums (Along with
Lb), and basically running mR.
Before the flood of questions come pouring in about what I'm going to do about mR's extremely poor shape (No activity, No clan nights, Inactive members, Inactive
admins, barely being a clan, etc.) I would like to address some obvious questions first.
Q: "Why were you selected out of everyone else to run mR?"
A: "The answer is simply that I'm online the most and most available to fix problems that may arise within the clan, I can be reached 24/7 via steam or via
[email protected] (I still gotta get a webmail). I can also fix server problems from anywhere with a mobile connection using remote desktop from my
phone, tablet, or laptop any time of the day."
Q: "How can we trust you?"
A: "If you've met me before you'll know I'm a pretty easy going guy, I honestly have no reason to do anything bad to mR. What would be the benefit? Losing
friends? That'd suck eggs, so I'm not gonna do it."
Q: "Exactly how active will you be?"
A: "24 hours a day, 7 days a week I'm available to help out. If I'm at work or sleeping I might reply a little slow but it'll get done within a few hours max
(less if it's a major problem such a server down)."
Q: "Who hosts the servers?"
A: "mIKe still hosts his own gameserver, but I have yet to check the info on it and as to what it hosts. mIKe also hosts the website as well. I'll be hosting
Minecraft, Terraria, 7DTD, CBC, HL2RP, and anything else we need on my personal VPS."
Q: "How are donations split?"
A: "Because of issues we've had in the past (Lladar) donation splitting is an iffy subject that I will tread lightly. Basically, if you donate to the link
on the forums the money goes to mIKe and he uses that to pay for the site and any other server needs. I'll also set up a donation link if you want to donate
to the gameservers. Basically, if you want more servers then send it to the VPS. If you want more website stuff, send it to mIKe. I personally keep none of
the money and it all goes to the server costs. I'll leave this subject up to mIKe to decide seeing as it's his clan and will operate upon his decision."
Q: "What does this mean for the clan?"
A: "None of the clan-based systems (Ranks, Admins, Members, etc.) will change as of now unless required to ensure the proper function of clan activites or
site operation."
Q: "Why do you talk like a robot?"
A: "I failed Señor english because of Video Games, and thus I talk like this. Thus this that was sally has hairy feet lol"
