wtf happened
Constant struggle between keeping the mR plugin functional and Valve releasing TF2 updates that alter the entire orangebox engine and break our plugin.

There are also multiple problems for coders and gamers. A lot of the old functions that we used in code do not work anymore or cause crashes. Gamers experience problems with overall choppiness despite how good a gaming rig is, and things like bhopping no longer work the way they once did.

The orangebox engine gets a TF2 update at the very least, once a week, and this of course kicks deathmatch down. As of the dec 13th update, hl2dm crashes for many users- 2 seconds after the loading screen. If valve had left hl2dm on the old engine, everything would be great and we would probably have 3 servers.

Could we possibly make the mR build plugin on SourceMod. I remember seeing LazyCat code a similar build plugin using SourceMod. We would usually only need to update the Sourcemod snapshots itself if Valve's update breaks it.
If not sourcemod could we use Metamod:Source to load the plugin since metamod is pretty stable against valve updates except the last one which needed the developer snapshot.

It wouldn't even come close to what we had...
Anything is better than nothing?.

And if I remember right, didn't phantom mention something about running the server on Python?..I think he brought it up when we were attempting to make a 'blob' when we all jumped on Hometown1999. Said that it helped the server run better and handle more props at once?.

I think we should run with Adam's suggestion, atleast until we can find a more suitable alternative.
