So I've had a few ideas on how we can improve the PvP server for 1.6, since the current map is bugged and the server is generally empty.
- The first idea I had was to create a UHC style server using the new gamerules and the /spreadplayers command which lets you teleport players to random points within a certain range of a command block, and the no regen which stops food from healing you, except with golden apples. We could create boundaries in a map and have players who join be spread out and forced to battle. However, last time we tried to host a UHC server only 3 people made it online.
- The second idea I had was to download some sort of medieval map, or just use randomly generated terrain, and give each player a saddle, a horse and some golden apples. Players would be forced to gather supplies and find Horse armour in chests to fight against other players on Horseback. I haven't seen this been done on any servers yet and I think if we advertised it well enough it would bring a lot of players to the server. We could use the current plugin on PvP to reset the map each time, and a chest randomiser plugin to randomly fill the chests.
