You can heal a zombie villager or you can transport villagers via water or minecart.

I thought villagers could be lead if one person talked to them and another lead them. Says so on the wiki.

I didn't know you could do that. It also says you can name villagers with nametags by double right clicking the villager, so the lead could work like that too.

It seems good, but doesn't work at well as I thought. They go for us instead of the villager most of the time. It sucks that we are first priority. :p
Works best when no one is around, and as you said on top of it.
Still, a great idea.

If you are close to or around the villager all night only a couple will ever track you, like i said the more of these you have around your base, the less likely they'll track you.
