Introducing Moderators!

I am promoting SsixX, dmanrules, and Starkiller666 to moderator status!

These guy will have elevated privileges to moderate the forums.
Consider this a pending pool for future admin.

I'd like to see deleting spam posts, moderating the shoutbox (gave you the delete option), moving post when they are posted into the wrong forum, updating the server list and homepage, and maintaining our rules, such as closing threads if they get out of hand.
Also would like to see some traffic generating ideas, such as starting threads, promoting gaming, etc.

Lately mR has been rather stagnant. Due to a lot of older members, and admins having lives (THE NERVE EH?) we don't have as many people to keep an eye on and maintain servers.

So without further delay, let's all give a warm welcome to Bmanrules and Videowarrior to the admin family!

Both of them will be full blown admins, but I think Bman is going to concentrate on the Minecraft servers, while Video is going to be working on some source servers!


Welcome to the family fellas! I'll be on and off today, but Ill work on getting y'all access to various things throughout today!

We're going to be moving to a new dedicated box soon. If all goes according to plan we'll be moving the week of July 28th.

Minecraft will be consolidated and moved into its own hosting platform (mcprohosting).

Build1 Current map will be loaded as an alt world, new test map will become primary. I am open for discussion on this.

Buidl2 will get its own dedicated mcprohosting server.

Legit and RP will be on its own server. We need to determine if we are keeping the current legit map, or using the new legit's test map.

Going to downsize a few servers, and others will be archived.

Teamspeak will stay up
Gmod TTT will stay up
TF2 will go back up (for now)

All other servers are on perma-hiatus unless someone speaks up.

All other comments, concerns questions and complaints are always welcome.

As some of you already know I've been messing with bitcoins and altcoins lately.
I think with enough people onboard we may be able to actually pay for a server or two!

All you have to do is this:

Download this per-configured miner (ATI Cards currently only):

Extract, and run the start.bat, and you are mining for mR! You can start or stop anytime. 5 minutes, 50 minutes, or 5 hours will add up in the long run.

If there is enough interested Ill setup an Nvidia miner, but ATI gets far better hashrates (generally speaking, and Glic's card doesn't count)

Now, before you get concerned with power usage, and heat.. the mining algorithm used on these new altcoins uses 40% less heat and power than bitcoin itself.

The mR miner uses a program called sgminer, and can be configured in ways to throttle your GPU down so you use even less power.
